  3. notifying us immediately at

5. Clinical and prescription services

5.1 How the consultation process works

When you request a prescription-only medicine through our service, the following process applies:

  1. You will complete a health assessment providing information about your medical history, current medications, and relevant health conditions.
  2. For weight management medicines, your assessment will include verification of your height, weight, and BMI as part of the clinical review. You must provide accurate measurements.
  3. A qualified prescriber, operating independently under AIOS Technology Ltd (CQC-registered), will conduct a clinical review of your information. For weight management medicines, this review will include two-way clinical communication — not assessment by questionnaire alone.
  4. The prescriber will determine whether treatment is clinically appropriate for you. This decision is entirely at the prescriber’s professional discretion. You may not be approved for treatment, and no reason need be given.
  5. If approved, a prescription will be issued and sent to Bolt Pharmacy for dispensing.
  6. If the prescriber requires further information, you will be contacted via our secure messaging system. You must respond within 5 calendar days, or your request will be declined and no payment taken.
  7. Your payment card will only be charged once a prescription has been issued and your order confirmed.

5.2 Your responsibilities as a patient

You must:

  1. provide complete, honest, and accurate health information at all times;
  2. inform our prescribers of all current medications, supplements, and relevant health conditions;
  3. not complete a consultation or place an order on behalf of another person;
  4. tell your regular GP or other healthcare provider about any treatments prescribed through our service;
  5. follow the instructions provided with your medicine and by your prescriber;
  6. check that medication received matches what was prescribed and is undamaged before use — contact us immediately if there is a discrepancy;
  7. not share or allow others to access your prescribed medication; and
  8. store and dispose of medication in accordance with the instructions provided.

We and our prescribing partners accept no liability for any harm resulting from your provision of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.

5.3 Clinical limitations

Our service does not replace your GP or other regular healthcare providers. Treatment provided through our service is based on information you supply remotely. Where clinically appropriate, our prescribers may recommend you see a healthcare professional in person before treatment can be provided.

Supply of medicines may be restricted by professional regulations or legal requirements. We reserve the right to decline any order.

5.4 Non-prescription products

Where you purchase non-prescription (pharmacy or general sale) products, a full clinical consultation is not required. For certain pharmacy medicines, a brief clinical screening may be conducted to ensure safe supply in line with UK pharmacy regulations. Payment for non-prescription products is taken at the time of order.

6. Communications

All clinical communications — including follow-up questions from your prescriber — must take place through our secure messaging system. Our general customer service email address

  1. Email: support@boltpharmacy.uk

 is for non-clinical enquiries only.

By registering an account, you consent to receiving service-related communications from us. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

14. General

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Sale and Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our website and services.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation and will notify you if this occurs. Such a transfer will not affect your rights under these terms.
